Paul's focus is the delivery of public space projects and leads on High Street 2012, which aims to improve the A11/A118 corridor which links the City to Stratford Town Centre. He works closely with the boroughs, Transport for London and other agencies on projects to make the city more liveable by improving the quality of its streets, squares, parks and public spaces. This includes masterplanning and public space strategies in areas such as Brixton and Croydon Town Centre.

Paul previously worked for the Architecture and Urbanism Unit, responsible for the previous Mayor's 100 Public Spaces programme, and has worked in housing management, development and regeneration for local authorities. Paul was also a Regeneration Manager at Angell Town, Brixton, collaborating closely with residents, architects and builders, to redesign and rebuild housing.

Paul has a BA American Literature from Sussex University and an MA Urban Design, University of Westminster.
