Maurizio joined the Design for London team in March 2011 and is now working on the delivery of the London Green Grid - a strategic framework for creating, improving, managing and maintaining high quality green infrastructure in Greater London.  His main areas of focus are the Colne/Crane Valley Park and the Arcadian Thames area framework.

Prior to joining Design for London, Maurizio worked as a research fellow at CCLP in Cambridge, and for the architectural practice CZStudio, where he was involved in the new urban master plan of Cubal City (Angola), the urban transformation of Reggio Emilia brought and international competitions.

Maurizio was educated at the IUAV Architecture University of Venice, where he obtained a Masters in Landscape Architecture with distinction. He has been a registered architect  in Italy since 2011.
