Maria works on strategic London wide mapping, as well as place specific studies and design support on live schemes in the Upper Lea Valley. 

Maria has learnt from consolidating design, project management and hands on construction, having co-founded Assemble, in self initiated projects such as Folly for a Flyover in Hackney Wick. At the strategic scale Maria has worked on public realm at Publica, and has produced propositional research for Delft University / MVRDV in the Netherlands. 

After studying architecture at Cambridge and London Met, she has contributed to publications on the built environment and has been a visiting critic in art and architecture schools across London
