Levent is involved in masterplans and developments in Rainham, the Albert Basin, and the Upper Lea Valley as well as working on the East London Green Grid programme.

He was born in London, studied architecture at Cambridge, and has worked in practices in London and the Netherlands, most notably the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA). He completed a post graduate diploma at the Architectural Association where his research thesis studied systems of organisation and proposed new platforms for representative design negotiation. Levent is involved in a new masters course at London Metropolitan University on planning and urban design, and contributes to urban debate through conferences and articles. He has also exhibited interactive installations in Shoreditch and Zurich as part of an interest in designing the design process.
