Daniel's work at Design for London is focused on the Royal Docks. He works closely with the London Borough of Newham on urban design, public realm and spatial projects to regenerate the area.
Current work includes a suite of documents, produced jointly by the Mayors of London and Newham, consisting of; A Vision for the Royal Docks, Parameters for Development and the Royal Docks Spatial Framework. Daniel is also involved in design management of public sector projects as well as working closely with private sector partners.
He has been involved in other Design for London projects such as the Farringdon Urban Design Study, the West Croydon Masterplan, the Avery Hill Park Café and the Rainham Riverside Walkway and Café.
Prior to joining DfL in March 2010 Daniel worked on urban design, architecture and property development projects for practices such as East and DSDHA. He is registered with the ARB in the UK and the Swedish Association of Architects and was educated at the Chalmers School of Architecture in Gothenburg, Sweden and Faculdade de Arquitectura in Porto, Portugal.
