Design for London and the London Borough of Hackney commissioned J & L Gibbons landscape architects and muf architecture/art to work with local groups to develop a series of public realm projects.

The project team worked closely with local players including Open Dalston, Arcola Theatre, Hackney Cooperative Developments, local businesses and residents. A series of workshops and engagement events were held at the Somerford Grove Estate, the Rhodes Estate and the Dalston Mill. Further events are scheduled till December 2009.
