We are working across London to provide ambitious improvements to the network of public spaces, from the doorstep to the street, parks and landscapes.

Tottenham High Road Historic Corridor is a chain of connected high streets and spaces that form the old (and in parts current) main road from London to Cambridge. It can be seen as a continuous High Road, with high street and local shops, civic and cultural institutions and houses arranged along it in procession. It can also be seen as a chain of connected spaces; stretches of high street shopping, residential and grander institutional buildings separated but connected by greens and other spaces. Our regeneration proposals focus on creating a succession of linked great spaces.

London Borough of Haringey with Design for London have appointed East Architecture to carry out study for Tottenham High Road which will include the development of a cultural quarter around Tottenham Green.

This study will inform emerging Haringey planning policy and the development of the Upper Lea Valley Opportunity Area Planning Framework and will assist the LDA and other key partners to structure their investment strategies in this area.

Tottenham High Road Historic Corridor is part of The Mayor's Great Spaces Initiative which supports the excellent design and delivery of public realm projects across London.
