We are working across London to provide ambitious improvements to the network of public spaces, from the doorstep to the street, parks and landscapes.
Tolworth Broadway is a primary route into the wider Borough of Kingston, primarily occupied by retail and food outlets. The project aims to provide a high quality public realm that reduces the dominance and adverse effects of traffic on the A240, and on Tolworth Broadway in particular, providing safe, convenient and attractive walking and cycling routes.
The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames together with Design for London and Transport for London appointed Studio Egret West to design the public realm strategy. The project is part of the Mayor's Great Spaces Inititative which supports the excellent design and delivery of public realm projects across London.
