We are working across London to provide ambitious improvements to the network of public spaces, from the doorstep to the street, parks and landscapes.

Design for London have worked with Transport for London, TfL, LB Camden, British Land and other local stakeholders to develop the final design for greener, more user friendly Euston Circus. Euston Circus is the junction of Euston Road, Tottenham Court Road, and Hampstead Road. The results of the changes will improve the environment for pedestrians by providing more trees and more landscaping. People using the area to access the tube station and hospitals will benefit from the major changes to the pedestrian crossings that are planned which will simplify the area, making it a new public space. Euston Circus is dominated by road traffic and with increasing numbers of pedestrians and cyclists using the area, these designs will provide a significant improvement for existing users and for the anticipated growth in the number of users in the future. Euston Circus is part of the Mayor of London’s Great Outdoors Programme. Farrells created the initial design concept for Euston Circus. The detail design is now being taken forward by John McAslan + Partners.
