We are working across London to provide ambitious improvements to the network of public spaces, from the doorstep to the street, parks and landscapes.

This project will provide better access and improved environmental quality between the marshland and the Belvedere Employment Area. Measures include dyke restoration, enhancement of environmental infrastructure, and links will also be improved to Belvedere and Abbey Wood stations, as well as links between local parks in the Belvedere Employment Area.

The London Development Agency and Design for London worked with the London Borough of Bexley to obtain capital funding from the Communities and Local Government Parklands programme and the European Regional Development Fund.

Design for London is currently working with the borough to determine the extent of the works and to help select the design team.

Partners: London Borough of Bexley, London Development Agency, Environment Agency, Thames Water, Natural England, and various land owners in the Belvedere Employment Area
