New MA in Spatial Planning and Urban Design

Urban Design London (UDL) is a not-for-profit organisation who provide design training and support to all London authorities. UDL is hosted by Design for London and receives funding from the London Development Agency (LDA), Transport for London (TfL), London Councils and the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE).

 

UDL provides:

*  A wide range of face-to-face training including master classes, workshops and foundation level courses. Since 2006 UDL have run around 30 different events per year attended by over 500 people annually. Every London borough has sent people to events plus other organisations such as TfL, LDA, GLA, CABE, RSLs, private developers, architects and consultants etc.

*  regular site visits to some of the most innovative and successful public realm and development schemes in London

*  regular newsletters and information papers on issues such as how to set up design review panels and how to deal with design at a planning appeal

*  The LEARNINGSPACE a new on-line urban design information resource which includes lots of information, games, quizzes and stories to help you learn how to create better places.
