We focus a lot of our resources on areas of London experiencing significant change. In these places we invest in long term collaboration to help shape great places.
As part of the strategic vision for King’s Cross, a new square is proposed for the station forecourt to create a major new public space for London and a fitting entry point for visitors arriving from continental Europe on Eurostar. An international design competition has been launched to find designers for this major new space. Design for London will work with the London Borough of Camden, Network Rail and other key stakeholders including Transport for London and will be involved in all stages of the competition.
