We focus a lot of our resources on areas of London experiencing significant change. In these places we invest in long term collaboration to help shape great places.

Design for London is supporting the Greater London Authority’s Planning Decisions Unit, advising on the design quality of this major development between Shoreditch and Spitalfields.

The development by Hammerson and Ballymore will provide a mix of uses including office, residential and retail units as well as a significant new park and square. The masterplan was prepared by KCAP architects working with Maccreanor Lavington.

Phase 1 includes a residential tower designed by Foster and Partners, phase 2 includes two commercial buildings by Allies and Morrison, and Farrells has been appointed to take forward phase 3 residential design. Gross Max and Landscape Projects are working on the design of the new park and square.

Design for London has also provided design advice on Transport for London's new East London Line station on the site and the adjacent bridge across Shoreditch High Street.
