Brixton’s Windrush Square was initiated and funded by Design for London/LDA in partnership with TfL and the London Borough of Lambeth. The square was opened by the Mayor on Friday 26th February and was followed by a weekend of celebrations of this much loved urban centre. This marks an early phase in Lambeth’s ambitious regeneration vision, in which Design for London and the LDA are intrinsically linked.
