The London Development Agency plans to invest almost £3 million improving public space in and around Rainham village. The LDA and Design for London will work with the London Borough of Havering to improve public access to the open spaces around the village, joining up the Ingrebourne Valley to the north with Rainham Marshes and the River Thames through the unique character of the village. This will create a more pleasant environment with less clutter, particularly around the listed Norman church, Rainham Hall, and war memorial.
