The Forgotten Spaces Competition was recently launched by RIBA London with Design for London and Qatari Diar. Designers from across the capital are invited to provide innovative ideas for un-used land, explaining how it can be improved for local people. A ‘forgotten space’ can be small or large - a grassy verge, wasteland, an unused car park, a derelict building, underpass or perhaps a fly over. Proposals can be complex, commercial or public, a piece of public art or a new building. Download the competition brief from the RIBA London website.
