Design for London is working with the local authorities and other partners on several strategic projects in Woolwich and Thamesmead.

We have been engaged in the development of the Royal Arsenal and Whitehart Triangle sites (owned by London Development Agency) and have been advising on planning applications, including Tavy Bridge in Thamesmead and the Tesco Love Lane site in Woolwich Town Centre. Current work includes strategic frameworks and policy documents for Woolwich and Planning Guidance for Thamesmead.

Design for London has also been involved in developing proposals and business cases for transport projects (including Crossrail Stations at Woolwich and Abbey Wood), and a number of public space projects in the area, including Woolwich Squares and Cross River Park.

Partners: London Development Agency, Transport for London, London Boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley
