The Roman Road corridor stretching from Ilford to Chadwell Heath is expected to change with the arrival of Crossrail. There will be four Crossrail Stations along the road: Chadwell Heath, Goodmayes, Seven Kings and Ilford. To steer the expected intensification of development in the area, the London Borough of Rebridge and Design for London have appointed Meadocroft Griffin architects to undertake an urban design study which will feed into Redbridge's emerging Crossrail Corridor Area Action Plan.
