Highbury and Islington is a busy station and interchange between the Victoria Line and the North London Line. Design for London is working with the London Borough of Islington, Transport for London and Network Rail to improve the public realm with a strongly defined character at Highbury Corner. The designs (by Gillespies, Atkins, Marks Barfield Architects and JMP) are part of a wider strategy to improve the public spaces in front of Highbury and Islington Station and the links between the station, Upper Street and Highbury Fields.
