Gants Hill underground station is located in the centre of a busy roundabout, linked to surrounding bus stops and streets by a complex subway system.

Working with the London Borough of Redbridge, Transport for London and Design for London, Pell Frishman and Gillespies are developing proposals to improve the local pedestrian environment and access to public transport. Advanced works were completed in 2008, and main works are due to start in summer 2009 due for completion in spring 2010.
